Hip-Hop is a vehicle for teaching awareness, knowledge, freedom, justice, equality and responsibility.”
The c.i.p.h.e.r. is a yearlong program and lifelong network for youth between 13 and 30 years old that facilitates an international Hip Hop cultural dialogue to create a community of engaged artists who represent and honor the roots, elements and true purpose of Hip Hop to bring about social change.
Youth will collaborate virtually with other youth from different countries (Belgium, The Netherlands & Germany) during two workshops per month and host each other and perform together during two youth exchanges (Berlin & Antwerp). The purpose is to create original music, video and other creative arts on topics that matter to them and their community (e.g.: identity, education, healthy relationships, social justice, environmental issues, etc.).
