70 Jahre Luftbrücke, der Film feat. “BronxBerlinParisConnection”

On May 12 2019 Berlin will be celebrating “70 years Airlift”. Some 50.000 people from all over the world are expected to come to Berlin and Tempelhofer Feld to comemorate this occasion. For the 10th anniversary of our “BronxBerlinConnection” 16 young people and two chaperones from Gangway e.V. went to NYC in order to conduct workshops throughout NYC and New Jersey last year. We held discussions about the “Airlift campaign”, the German/American relationship and contemporary political developements. In the end we were able to capture two documentaries. The first one is now available online. The documentary “BronxBerlinParisConnection” will be screened at the City Kino at Centre Francais de Berlin on May 10 2019. Additional information about our 4 city youth exchange “Berlin, Marseilles, London and NYC” which will take place in Berlin as part of the celebrations for “The 70 year anniversary of the Airlift” is coming soon. Am 12 Mai 2019 feiert Berlin 70 Jahre Luftbrücke. Zu diesem Anlass kommen internationale Gäste aus der ganzen Welt und um die 50.000 Zuschauer werden auf dem Tempelhofer Feld erwartet. Bereits im letzten jahre fuhren 16 Jugendliche zusammen mit zwei Betreuern im Rahmen des 10 jährigen Jubiläums unserer “BronxBerlinConnection” nach New York um zu diesem Anlass mit jungen Menschen quer durch NYC und New Jersey über die Luftbrücke, das Deutsch/Amerikanische Verhältnis und politische Entwicklungen der Gegenwart ins Gespräch zu kommen. Am Ende entstanden zwei Dokumentarfilme. Der erste ist ab sofort online zu sehen. Der Dokumentarfilm “BronxBerlinParisConnection” wird am 10 Mai 2019 im City Kino im Centre Francais de Berlin präsentiert. Weitere Informationen zu unserer vier Städte Begegnung “Berlin, Marseilles, London, New York” die im Mai in Berlin im Rahmen der Festlichkeiten “70 Jahre Luftbrücke” stattfindet folgt in Kürze.
