Graffiti Workshop

Am 16. März 2011 begann in der Carl von Ossietzky Oberschule in Kreuzberg ein 3-tägiger Graffiti Workshop geleitet von Marc, Stefan, Gero und Jurij mit ca. 50 Schülern. Die Pieces sind bald in der ganzen Schule zu sehen. Das ganze Projekt geht bis zum Jahresende.
Wichtigste Erfahrung nach 3 Tagen? Es ist sehr schwer Graffiti zu malen. Wir werden uns neue Herangehensweisen überlegen müssen, Jugendliche langfristig vorbereiten bevor es an die Wand geht…..

March 16 we began a 3 day workshop @ the Carl von Ossietzky School in Kreuzberg run by Marc, Stefan, Gero and Jurij working with some 50 students. The pieces will be seen throughout the school very soon. The entire project will run throughout the year.

Most important experience after 3 days? Writing Garffiti is VERY difficult. We´ll have to find new ways to implement the project, long term parctice sessions with youths bevor hitting the walls, Graffiti lessons in Art Class….
