“Die Menschen, nicht die Häuser machen die Stadt.” – Perikles
Durch Begegnungen junger Menschen aus verschiedenen europäischen Städten entsteht ein interaktiver Stadtplan mit jugendrelevanten Orten. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei nicht touristische Sehenswürdigkeiten, sondern Alltagserfahrungen, Problematiken, Geheimtipps und Beobachtungen der jungen Menschen aus den jeweiligen Städten. Wichtiger als die Fassade selbst ist das, was sich hinter ihr abspielt. Dieser Prozess fand in 2014 parallel in Berlin und London statt.

A second look
„The people, not the buildings represent the town.“ Pericles
Different youth exchanges will result in an interactive city map with several stations including the according audio files. This service is free for all and multilingual. Not the historical sights and tourist attractions are the focus of this tour but rather the everyday experiences, problems, insider tips and observations of the young people from all Berlin and London districts, east and west. Instead of looking at house façades, we want to illustrate what happens behind them. This process took place simultaneously in London and Berlin.
